I can see my apartment building if I am sitting on the right side of a plane on the runway at Recife's airport.

Well, if I sit on the left side of a plane which flies into Montreal from the east end of the island (which many planes do, regardless of where they are coming from), I can always spot our house. This is possible because one can recognize the unique street pattern of TMR.
It's true! I love spotting the house from the air when flying into Montréal.
