Yes, This is Brazil
The Lençóis Maranhenses, the main objective of our trip, defy words. The sand is so white it blinds. The water is so turquoise it seems a painting. The sun is so yellow it hurts. The are dunes so fine, they slip between your toes. It is amazing.

am making plans 2 go 2 lencois maranhanses over christmas week. any recommendations about the weather?
Preta, I imagine that it will be hot in the Lencois over Christmas! But because of the wind that sweeps across the dunes, the heat doesn't feel as hot as it really is. My advice is to take a ton of sunscreen, a large-brimmed hat, and very dark sunglasses. Other than that, we only advice is to Enjoy!
