Sensory Overload
I think that I will find it a challenge to write coherently about carnaval as it is an accumulation of two weeks of sensory overload -- sight, smells, sounds, touch, and taste. Wow - looks like a good party for sure! Does anybody actually have off from work?
Fortunately my employers are kind enough to give us the Monday and Tuesday off. Most Brazilians also have the Friday before and Wednesday after as well. Let me tell you, the Wednesday after is highly necessary for many!
